A “braggot” is a mead (a honey wine) that is made with a cereal grain, the basic ingredient of beer. In other words, a honey-beer. Our braggot is made with Sorghum, which like honey, is gluten free. We also use gluten free Lager yeast in a very long cold fermentation process which yields a very dry and clean finish, in spite of it’s sweet aroma. Organic ginger root and lemongrass are used for flavoring, rather than hops.
